The Jack Lees Tribute Fund

Following Jack’s death, at the request of his family, the Outdoor Pusuits Safety Programme is beng developed. Delivered by Organised Fun and sponsored by the NUS and Howden Insurers, the Outdoor Pursuits Safety Programme is a national iniative to improve safety in student-led outdoor pursuits including wild swimming, hill walking and mountaineering, surfing, paddlesports, caving and climbing.

16 Students’ Unions are involved in developing the Safety Standards and the final guide will be made available to the entire sector:
